Pia Toscano has wrote a new song, but it’s for Aubrey O’Day and it will be Aubrey’s next single! The track was produced by David Hodge who also produced Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Because of you’ listen to a snippet of ‘Wrecking Ball’ below!

I think the main reason we weren’t updating is because I just became sad because nothing was being said about what Pia was doing, but that was dumb of me! We are back now and will continue updating! In the video below Rock Mafia explains that Pia Toscano’s new single is ‘Counterfeit’ remember when rumors of that song surfaced right after the American Idol season ended. For now it’s just a rumor, nothing is confirmed by Pia, her management, or Interscope. Even if it isn’t true it’s very exciting to hear about new music from Pia! Watch the video below.

ia Toscano may not have won ‘American Idol’, but it certainly hasn’t done anything to slow down her music career.

In a recent interview with Wetpaint, Toscano spoke about her time on ‘American idol’ and how the show taught her to embrace her nerves when performing. She said;

“You know what? I was so nervous on Idol, throughout that whole entire process. I regret being so nervous. I feel like all my nerves got sucked out of me throughout that process. But I always get the butterflies before I perform, always. I kind of feel that, when that buzz goes away and those nerves go away, it’s not as special anymore. So I like it.”

When it comes to Pia’s love life, she was romantically linked to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro dancer Mark Ballas, but the relationship didn’t last. So who is Pia dating now? She said;

“Absolutely. I’m a 23-year-old girl. I’m still trying to find my way. I’m just like anybody else. My schedule’s way too busy for any smooching.”

Toscano has been busy working on her upcoming album and she says that the record is going to be “diverse”. Pia explains;

“Well, I’ve been working so hard on this album. I’ve been in new writing sessions and just putting my own stamp on things, kind of telling my story throughout the whole entire process. It’s going to be very diverse. There’s going to be lots of different things. I feel like people aren’t going to expect certain things, which I like. On American Idol, I was only on for a few shows unfortunately, so I feel like I didn’t get to show America everything. There’s going to be those ballads, but there’s also going to be the up tempo’s, like Randy Jackson begged me for.”
